1. Data controller

WXF Sàrl, Alte Meielsgrundstrasse 2, 3783 Grund bei Gstaad, is the controller of the personal data collected on laurona.ch. For any questions: cheers@laurona.ch.

2. Data collected

We only collect the data you send us:

  • when you place an order: name, delivery and billing addresses, email, telephone, products ordered, message for the card;
  • via the forms (contact, Private Club, booking, trade price list, letters from the cellar): the fields you fill in;
  • technically: the data needed for the site to work (IP address in the server logs, basket contents stored in your browser).

We never receive your card details: they are entered directly with our payment provider.

3. Purposes of processing

  • process, deliver and invoice orders;
  • reply to your messages and booking requests;
  • run the Private Club and the letters from the cellar, if you have consented;
  • comply with our legal and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud.

4. Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on the performance of the contract (orders), your consent (Private Club, letters from the cellar, WhatsApp messages), our legal obligations (accounting, protection of minors) and our legitimate interest in responding to your requests.

5. Payment and third-party providers

We use the following service providers, who process data solely on our behalf:

  • Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland): payment by card, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay;
  • Netlify, Inc. (United States): website hosting and form submissions;
  • our carriers (for example Swiss Post): delivery;
  • Google (Gmail): email service;
  • WhatsApp (Meta): Club messages, only if you have consented to them.

6. Private Club and Letters from the cellar

If you join the Club or sign up for the letters from the cellar, we use your name, your email address and, if you provide it, your mobile number to write to you a few times a year. You can unsubscribe at any time, with a simple message or via the link included in every email.

7. Transfer of data abroad

Some service providers are located in the European Union or the United States. Transfers are made to countries recognised as offering adequate protection or on the basis of standard contractual clauses.

8. Retention period

Order data is kept for ten years, in line with Swiss accounting obligations. Club and letter data are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply to you and follow up.

9. Data security

The website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to data is limited to those who need it to process your order or request.

10. Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to cheers@laurona.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
